Screen Setup: Real-time IP Camera Monitoring System Sender full gmail address Receiver1 full gmail address Receiver2 Receiver3 Receiver4 SMTP Server smtp.gmail.com SMTP Port 587 Need Authentication x SMTP User gmail username SMTP Password gmail password Report Internet IP by mail Don't know what I am doing wrong. Re: Real-time IP Camera Monitoring System
What's model No. and firmware of the camera? Can you see Transport Layer Security below SMTP Port? If no, the camera does not support gmail as sender. Is there any error message when test?

OK, I was hoping it would support Gmail. The camera is a Foscam FI8918W.

Re: Real-time IP Camera Monitoring System
Reset camera first: Click Restore Factory Settings. Some email cannot be sender and receiver at the same time. So, maybe you can change receiver to your gmail. Mostly the SMTP Port is 25, it's up to the sender mail. Is there any wrong message when click test?

'Can you see Transport Layer Security below SMTP Port?' In your email settings for the camera? If so, for gmail, best bet is setting these values and of course your user and password. Sender: YourGmail as - [email protected] Receiver1: YourGmail as- [email protected]

You'd want port 587, not 25.

I should have said with Gmail. I can't speak for Centurylink. I just tested Gmail with 25/STARTTLS. It doesn't work. I submit, then test, then see
Cctv Ip Camera System
'Test . Failed Can not connect to the server' I then try 587 in the same manner and the test succeeds.
